​​​my name is emily hillburg. when I paint  I go into a trance and what comes out  is a girly, disturbing, floral thing with animals. I think they are my brain’s album covers for things that are too obtuse to describe properly. I’m especially obsessed with rabbits (watership down, night of the lepus), tigers (lions are jerks but tigers are rad), sharks (I dream of sharks constantly), wolves (wolves are badasses), and  90’s westcoast  rap.
